Nine champions were appointed to work regionally across the UK, building collaborative networks between key business support agencies, suppliers of technology products and services and local authorities. CNR was appointed as national co-ordinator, to help regional champions achieve this ambitious programme. Key priorities have been to work on European or RDA grant applications for new regional projects. These initiatives are designed to accelerate the take up of information and communication technologies and to develop the skills of business staff.
