In 2003 the Department of Trade & Industry announced it was to update its wide range of activities and initiatives and introduce a new range of business support products. CNR was engaged to project manage the development and implementation of a new tool to aid SMEs who want to 'Invest in an Innovative Idea'. Working to a tight timetable, we worked with the Department of Trade & Industry to put in place a development process and facilitated roll out across the UK of a paper and electronic based tool As part of this work we supported the training of users and continue to manage a help desk to facilitate tool use - a second version of the tool has recently been produced.
